Although our doors opened just a few years ago, the roots of our company stretch back over two decades, grounded in the same passion for automobiles and dedication to quality that we uphold today.

Our Founder Johnny Mendoza
Long before Hoover Auto Collision Repair existed, Johnny Mendoza’s love for cars led him, in 2000, to his first role at a BMW dealership in Van Nuys, California. It was there that Johnny’s hands-on talents shone and he seized every chance to hone his skills—studying advanced repair techniques, apprenticing with seasoned technicians, and mastering both mechanical diagnostics and collision-repair artistry.

Over the next twenty years, Johnny’s journey took him through a variety of premier auto-repair and body-shop environments. Along the way, he absorbed best practices, embraced cutting-edge technology, and refined his craftsmanship. In 2020, with 25 years of hands-on experience and a vision for a shop built entirely around the customer, Johnny launched Hoover Auto Collision Repair.
